Samare is a loose sweater, knitted from bottom to top in stockinette stitch, with a panel in “grain d’orme” stitch at the center front. The back is slightly longer than the front.
Choose your usual size, the ease is already included in the pattern.
Description
Gauge:
20 sts x 25 rounds = 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) in stockinette st with 4,5mm (US7) needles
Sizes:
XS/S/M/L/XL/2XL/3XL for a finished bust circumference of 40/43/47/51/55/59/63” (102/110/120/130/140/150/160 cm)
Materials:
- Malabrigo Rios, (210 yards/192 meters for 100g), 5 (6/6/7/7/8/9) skeins, or about 1000 (1150/1200/1370/1420/1640/1750) yards 920 (1050/1100/1250/1300/1500/1600) meters of worsted weight yarn.
- 4,5 mm (US7) needles or needles necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
- 4 mm (US6) needles or needles necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
- 4 markers, waste yarn, stitch holders, tapestry needle.

Gave up on this pattern because it was so poorly written. Started and ripped out 3 times before I realized it wasn’t my error, but confusing references to stitch markers. Impossible to follow. Wish I could get my money .
Everything is in French so there’s no support. I should have known better than to buy a translated pattern.
